Tree Planting Program

Keep Track of Our Annual Tree Planting Program

Nigeria currently has the highest deforestation rate in the world, losing about 3.7% of its forests every year. The country has lost a large percentage of its vegetative cover since the early 90’s, with over 36% of the trees removed since 1990.

JAM Initiatives seeks to embark on an aggressive tree-planting campaign to mitigate the already evident effects of deforestation on the local ecosystem and the world.

By organizing sensitization workshops, and tree-planting campaigns, JAM Initiative intends to start the process of afforestation and ensure that Nigeria and its West African neighbors play their role in the fight against climate change.

Join us for our annual tree-planting event! At JAM Initiatives, we understand the importance of trees in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and creating sustainable ecosystems. Let’s work together to create a more sustainable and resilient future!
